CHAS Construction Health and safety
CHAS is established as the market leader for health
and safety pre-qualification in the UK.
It is a non-commercial scheme open to suppliers
(those who provide goods and services)
and to organisations (buyers) looking for suitably
competent suppliers. Chas accredited suppliers
have been assessed as being competent in applying Health and Safety standards.
CHAS will asses the applicants:
1- Health and safety policy statement;
2- Their organisation for health and safety;
3- Their specific health and safety arrangement
to a standard acceptable to buyers and to others.
THE GUILD OF MASTER CRAFTSMEN
The Guild is the UKs leading trade association and always
asks potential members for just that kind of recommendation.
Applicants for the Guild are required to submit confidential
references from satisfied customers. The Guild's council of
management include a review of the references when considering
the application for membership. The Guild brings together, skilled people engaged in a craft,
art, trade, profession or vocation in order to safeguard the interests of craftsmen and the public.
The Guild ensures that the minimum qualifications for membership will
preserve the high standards of The Guild by excluding the unskilled.
